We will be led by our mindfulness facilitator Elise Dunn through 6 sessions centered around mindfulness and social emotional growth and learning.
Elise will lead the school and family community through a 20 minute mindful exercise. We will meet outside on the front field promptly at 8:50 on Thursday mornings (see dates). It if is raining, we will meet in the gym. Parents will be welcome to join sessions held on outside days and are encouraged to participate with the school. The theme for these sessions will incorporate lessons around growth mindset and positive self-talk, tuning into our own body and learning strategies to support our self-regulation and wellness.
What to bring: all participants will need a beach towel or mat.
